10 Truths that Will Not Change in 2021
Well, here we are in 2021. The old year is behind us, and a new year has begun. But just because there’s a new year doesn’t mean everything is suddenly better, and I thought we could all do with a reminder of some truths that will not change no matter what 2021 may bring.
God is Good.
“O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him.” Psalm 34:8
God is in control.
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
God knows what He is doing.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11
God Loves You.
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3
God is Faithful
“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness” Lamentations 3:22-23
This World is Not Your Final Home
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house there are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:1-3
A Joyous Eternity with Christ is ahead
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4
Nothing can Separate you from God’s Love
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
God Will Work Anything that Happens this Year Together for Your Good.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
None of these Truths will Ever Change
“For ever, O Lord, Thy Word is settled in heaven. Thy faithfulness is unto all generations: Thou hast established the earth, and it abideth. They continue this day according to Thine ordinances: for all are Thy servants.” Psalm 119:89-91
“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Hebrews 13:8
