From Thanksgiving to Christmas
The transition from Thanksgiving to Christmas can seem like an abrupt change in direction, but for the Christian, it is a logical progression in gratefulness to God.

Finding Thankfulness
The week leading up to Thanksgiving can be exhausting, and it is easy to end up so tired or busy we don’t feel very thankful. God recently convicted my heart with Psalm 18:30 and a truth that renewed my thankfulness to God.

A Change in our Perspective
We live in an age of distraction, but the need for a periodic adjustment to our perspective is not new. Mark 13 gives us an example of how Christ helped His disciples refocus on eternal things.

Psalm 125:5 Set Apart for Peace
Peace is something it seems everyone is looking for. But as Psalm 125:5 reminds us, there is only one path to peace.

Psalm 125:4 Smiled Upon
We all want God’s blessings upon our lives, but how does that work? Psalm 125:4 points out an important truth about God’s blessing.

Psalm 125:3 Spared from Sin
Psalm 125:3 is one of those verses that can be easily misinterpreted, but when the whole verse is taken into account, we find an encouraging promise to those who put their trust in God.

Psalm 125:2 Surrounded and Protected
While Psalm 125:1 gives us the picture of stability and security, the next verse presents a picture of protection.

Psalm 125:1 Secure and Rooted
The poetic imagery of the Bible isn’t just for show. The descriptive pictures painted in Psalm 125:1 have been carefully chosen to illustrate an amazing truth about the relationship between God and His people.

Avoiding Error
No one likes to be wrong. When it comes to spiritual truth, there’s only one way to avoid falling into error.
