Second Mile Forgiveness
We often think of forgiveness in terms of words we say, but Christlike forgiveness goes much deeper—and farther—than words.

Blessed are Ye
This final beatitude brings the truths home, emphasizing the fact that these blessings can be yours and mine!

Persecuted
“Blessed are the persecuted”… that seems such a contradiction, but Christ said it, and it is true. How can the persecuted Christian be described as blessed, or happy?

Peacemakers
Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” But what does it mean to be a peacemaker?

Pure in Heart
Jesus said that the pure in heart shall see God. What does that mean, and how can we have a pure heart?

The Merciful
Jesus said that the merciful are blessed, or happy, because they shall obtain mercy. So what does mercy look like?

They that Mourn
Jesus said, “Blessed are they that mourn”, but how can that be? What are we to mourn over?
